I have two products that are my absolute favorites right now. First is Mac Pro's lip erase lip balm. This stuff is perfect because it has a better texture than just using concealer on your lips. Many women (and lots of Latinas!) have discolorations on the lips that lipsticks sometimes won't even cover. That's what Lip Erase is also for- to give your lips a perfect even tone in which to apply any lip color you want. *My tip- let this product set for a few minutes before applying your lipstick.
Available at pro stores it comes in two shades that are very easy to choose from:

The second is a newer product from my friends at Mary Kay Cosmetics and it has become a staple on my kit. It is called Liquid lip color and my favorite shade is Malted. This stuff wonderful, the texture is creamier like a lipstick but also a bit shiny like a gloss. It covers the lips with one applicaton.
*My tip: apply over a very nude lip liner used all over the lip for even longer lasting coverage
Get it here- you'll love it:

Here's a preview of a shot I did using the Malted liquid lip. Notice how the eyes become the focus and how it helps to make thinner lips bigger-- dark recedes so if you want to go for a full pouty look try this!
