The Caketress | Wedding Cake Inspiration

I recently received the sweetest note from Lori Hutchinson, aka "The Caketress", and ever since, I just cannot stop thinking about her couture wedding cakes and petits gateaux. Truly. If she packed up shop and moved to Manhattan, I'd plan a fab fete just to work with her.
The Toronto-based designer has a penchant for combining stylish design and edible works of art. As a fashion aficionado {clearly, a girl after my own heart}, she has a fabulous way of adding chic embellishments to her work that are reminiscent of millinery, embroidery and draping details.
