Untamed Petals | Fab New York Finds Vol. IV

We have fallen {hard!} for Untamed Petals. The ethereal custom creations are the work of Manhattan-based designer, Amanda Gilbert, who works for MTV Networks by day and creates stunning, chiffony delights from her Battery Park studio by night. We recently chatted Amanda up about her bridal and everyday lines and are thrilled to share her thoughts with Merci readers...

What is your design philosophy?
I believe that every girl deserves something one of a kind in their wardrobe. The Untamed Petals philosophy is about accessories that make the outfit, make a bold statement and complete any look. From imported silk chiffon to vintage rhinestone buttons, an Untamed Petals accessory looks glamorous on any bride, yet is chic enough to wear out on the weekend. I love creating a completely original heirloom that will never go out of style.

Which of your pieces is your {secret} favorite?
As you can see from my shop, I am a huge fan of the flower halos. They are so romantic, yet chic at the same time. They would be perfect for both everyday use and for an outdoor wedding.
