j'adore - photo friday {december dior}

If you haven't already noticed, Lara Stone has landed the Christmas cover of British Vogue - donned in a ethereal Dior Haute Couture blush tulle corset dress and an assortment of Basia Zarzycka corsages, no less. Photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Lucinda Chambers, the Dutch model continues to be quite the vision in pieces by Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana throughout the story.
The issue is inspired by a picture referring to the 1951 Norman Parkinson image of a young woman dressed in a dramatic ball gown. That image was shown to Alexandra Shulman as a part of the research for another project. But, it struck her as an image that summed up all that Vogue represents – fashion, style, extreme beauty and a sense of contemporary.
We could have posted many more images of this jaw-dropping shoot. If you haven't leafed through a copy- get thee to a B&N, stat. You'll thank us later.
