Wedding Color Inspiration | Autumn Petals

I promise not to wax poetic on my yellow love affair again... though you have to admit, it's cameo here {paired with taupe & blush pink} is lovely. I'm actually posting because I'm just head over heels gaga over this beautiful floral sash from the recently published issue of Utterly Engaged...

Divine! I love it for early fall. And though it certainly looks casual and breezy with the photographed Ruche dress for a garden wedding, I couldn't stop thinking "this sash has such panache for a more formal fete!"

Some of the {nearly endless} possibilities: Pair it with a fitted-but-flirty cocktail dress or your LBD standby for an instant update on an old classic. Use it as a unifying accessory for bridesmaids wearing different frocks of the same color. Make it a reception-only accessory to distinguish moms or maids {long after they have dropped their bouquets and corsages}...
