Quick glittery eyes!

Here's a look I had to do for a job last week.  I had to do a very quick version of a look that would normally take a long time to do.

I used the NYX Cosmetics glitter palette in "Fresh Greens"  I must say, I really liked it.  I thought it was going to be harder to see the color and the glitter but the texture of the product made it easy to adhere to the eyelid and unlike many other glitter products out there- this one stayed put and didn't go everywhere making a huge mess!  That's a huge plus for this product as it is very hard to apply loose glitters or pigments without having them spill all over the place. Last, but not least is the price!! at $5 a palette- you should get more than one!

I literally build the intensity from the lighter green to the darker one and used the gold tone as a highlighter.  One thing I really recommend is toning down the eyebrows for a look like this.  My model had very dark bushy eyebrows so I used a gold mascara from Bare Escentuals.  Try this-it looks great!  The "bling" is from the fabric store applied with eyelash glue.
