Face:
Morenas are blessed in my opinion to have that beautiful tropical look to their skin without having to work at it. They tan easily and can achieve a fresh natural look with little effort.
This type of skin does tend to be oily, so I recommend an oil free, long wearing foundation. Also a mineral foundation is a great option. Both types let the skin breathe and don't clog pores like thicker formulas. Yellow based foundations are best because they match more closely with this type of skin tone. I recommend using a lighter formulation and build the coverage until it meets your needs.
Here’s a picture of Puerto Rican model Anne Marie Kortwright. I have worked with her many times and her look really embodies "Fresh and Radiant". This is a picture for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Her skin is warm and lustrous but it doesn’t look oily. It is healthy and vibrant but not overly powdered:
Eyes:
My favorite natural eye look for this type of Latina is one that requires two eye shadows. One eye shadow should be a light golden one and the other a neutral brown or gray. This combination gives your eyes a fresh glow.
You apply the golden eye shadow as a base from lash line to brow bone. A champagne-like tone will make your eyelid radiant and works really well. *My Tip- Decrease the intensity as you blend up toward the brow. You don't want a solid gold area from lid to brow.
Then, on the lid (on top of the gold) and slightly above the crease you will apply the neutral (brown or gray) shadow and blend it. Carry this color around and under the lower lash line, thinly. Concentrate more of the neutral shade on the outer corners and blend it in.

As far as eyeliner goes, find a pencil that’s not too creamy. If it is too creamy it may have a tendency to not wear so well. Get it as close to the upper lashes as you can and smudge for intensity. You can also carry it on the lower lash line and smudge. *My tip- Stay away from liquid liners for natural looks unless you learn to apply it in a very thin line at the base of your lashes that’s virtually undetectable. If not, it has a tendency to make your eyes look very “dressed up".
Here's an illustration I made of the eye color application.
Cheeks:
As far as blush, you want a cheek color that is not too brown as they tend to give the face an old fashioned contoured look. Make sure that it’s not too matte either as it can look “chalky”and can be hard to blend. Remember you want your cheeks to look radiant.
Here’s the perfect blush on Jennifer Lopez , there's just a little sparkle on the apples of the cheeks and the color has some rosy hint to it. It really gives her that healthy sparkle that we all love!

Lips:
As for lips, you want to find the perfect natural tone for you. For morenas, it's probably something that’s not too pink, light or frosty. *My tip- Think what would happen to your lips if you pinched them. That deeper tone is the color we want. It should be a slightly reddish brown. If it's not, call a doctor Twilight. Try to find a nice fleshy tone that can have a little hint of berry and brown.
Here’s a picture of Roselyn Sanchez, illustrating the finished look. You can do it too, look ahead for my product recommendations.
